The colours and the sensitivity of Natasha Milaschevich attracted me!
She uses the stunning folk costumes of her country as inspiration
This is so delicate .
Gorgeous patterns and colours.
This artist is painting today and has work in many galleries across the world.
Lovely! I particularly like the last one.
ReplyDeleteI love the sort of patchwork afect!
DeleteWhat vibrant colours she uses. I do like the first one. How did you find her?

Just looking up folk costume on google .I love trawling about on google images .
DeleteAmazing colors! Thanks for introducing me to her work : )
ReplyDeleteI am looking for bright colours, strong colours to brighten up the winter months. Thanks for dropping in!
DeleteThanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome!
DeleteWhat inspiring colours and patterns all balanced together - some intriguing stories behind the images perhaps. (BTW thanks for you lovely comment on my blog! I have read Miller's Colossus - for me, the most enjoyable of his books. And that legendary Katsimbalis gets everywhere - pops up in Artemis Cooper's new biog of Patrick Leigh Fermor...very good read.)
ReplyDeleteThanks Deborah, I have requested the Fermor book at work . I actually only really like that one by Miller too.love Angela
DeleteStunningly beautiful, I totally understand your fascination.;) I think it is so rare to find an artist of traditional realism, instead of just modern, abstract art, which very rarely appeals to me.;))
ReplyDeleteHer style reminds me of one of my favourite artist of all times, the Czech Alfons Mucha, who is also considered the founder of Art Nouveau.;))
Have a great Sunday,
xoxo
Thanks Zuzana, the pictures are so full of colour.Abstract art is not really my taste but I do see the reason for it. I adore Mucha and have a lovely book which my husband Steve gave me last birthday.Take care and have a good week x
